Sacred waters

As most of you may know, this past winter our family was fortunate enough to spend several weeks in Thailand. During our stay, we discovered many wonderful places and met so many beautiful people. Of all the locations we visited, our favorite by far was Wareerak nestled deep in the heart of the Thai Jungle.

This awe-inspiring haven was recommended to me by a dear friend many years ago, and even then, I had a feeling that it would become one of the most precious places on Earth to me. Just by glimpsing at a few of her photos, I was certain that I would fall in love with its serene beauty and healing energy.

Surrounded by a rich variety of flora, this resort comes with a beautifully intense soundscape created by the local animals and insects. Its owner discovered a secret hot-spring waterfall back in the 80s, which he kept hidden away for many years, only sharing it with close friends and family. Over time, his vision to create a resort that would allow more people to experience the healing energy of this place grew within him. And the organic unfolding of that vision can really be felt in every detail of this sacred sanctuary. Every element has been designed with great respect for the aesthetics of nature, carefully interwoven into the surrounding environment.

As soon as we arrived, I felt like we were transported into a fairytale. Everywhere I looked, pure enchantment surrounded us. However, my personal highlight was the secret waterfall, which gently washed us with its warm, mineral-rich water. Many times, I found myself lost in the moment, thinking that if this was the last day of my life, I would spend it right here.

Now, inspired by this beautiful place, I feel very excited to share it with all of you with the wonderful tropical yoga retreat Sacred Waters.
