Getting to the Sacred Water Retreat is quite easy. We begin on the serene island of Koh Lanta, which is well connected to the Krabi International Airport. From the airport, Koh Lanta is approximately 55 kilometers away — a journey that includes a scenic drive and a short ferry crossing.
I can help you arrange a taxi transfer from the airport to our retreat venue on the island. The journey takes about 1.5–2 hours, depending on the traffic and ferry schedule.
Do you recommend arriving earlier than the retreat start date?
Yes — if possible, I highly recommend arriving a few days early. Long-distance travel can be tiring, and giving yourself time to rest and arrive gently can help you begin the retreat feeling settled and open.
You could choose to stay a night or two in Krabi Town or Ao Nang, or come directly to Koh Lanta and rest there. I’m happy to offer accommodation and transport suggestions to support a smooth arrival.
What about the second location of the retreat?
In the second week, we’ll move to a peaceful location near the Krabi hot springs and waterfalls, which is only about 50 minutes from Krabi Airport. This makes your departure very easy, whether you’re flying home or continuing your journey through Thailand.
Yes — it may be possible to extend your stay before or after the retreat. Please reach out to me directly, and I’ll see if there is availability at our venues to accommodate your request.

Whether you’re new or have a long-standing practice, there’s space for you here.
The meals on this retreat are often described as one of the highlights. Expect beautifully prepared, nourishing food that supports your practice and your wellbeing.

Everything is made fresh and with love, and dietary needs can be discussed in advance.
We keep the group intimate yet dynamic, with around 12 to 20 participants. This allows for deep connection, personal attention, and a sense of shared journeying together.
What optional activities are available?
While the retreat program is rich and full, you’ll have opportunities to personalize your experience with optional excursions, such as:
- Boat trips to nearby islands
- Natural dyeing workshop using local plants
- Snorkeling adventures
- Thai cooking class
- Visit to an ethical elephant sanctuary
Each day is designed with a rhythm that balances movement, stillness, exploration, and rest — and there is always space to say yes or no to what feels right for you.
Yes — Thailand is very safe and welcoming, and our retreat venues are well-established, professional, and thoughtfully chosen.
The food is clean and prepared hygienically, the drinking water is filtered, and the overall standard of care is high. That said, as with all travel, I recommend travel insurance that includes medical coverage and cancellation.
If you’re new to traveling in Asia, I’m happy to support with extra guidance or reassurance — you’ll be held from the moment you arrive.
- A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot.
- The remaining balance is due by January 8th, 2025, one month before the retreat begins.
- Payments are accepted via bank transfer.
- If you need to cancel, the deposit is non-refundable. If cancellation occurs after the balance is paid, I will do my best to refill your spot, but I recommend travel insurance in case of unforeseen events.
Yes — I’m happy to discuss a payment plan if you need more flexibility. Please just reach out and we can find a solution that works for both of us.
